I use these mainly for playing basketball. I have suffered knee and ankle injuries before, so I am hoping these can help keep me injury free. I typically wear these in addition to heel cups. I do feel that these socks provide better traction than regular socks. These are definitely nonstick without shoes on hardwood floors. I'll always keep these socks in my gym bag.

These are fakes! The Nike elite socks come with tags and these came in a zip lock bag. The only writing on the bag said "made in China" of course! However they are comfy socks and can't really tell there knock offs!

These things are great for real athletic activity. Maybe a little too expensive for daily wear, and maybe a bit too hot, but I hunt for these when I'm going to play basketball, softball, bowl, hike, whatever physical.
They're really thick and tight and supportive through the arch, and the ribbed bottom makes them not slip inside your shoe.
I didn't think a sock would matter this much.
