Quality materials and the socks look like they will last as well as any other options out there. I used these for playing basketball and I did not slip around in my shoes.

Love the shorts and the XL fit me like my other nike shorts. The only reason I gave these shorts a 4 star was because of the pockets. The zipper pocket on the left side of the shorts, along with the normal side pockets are very shallow. You could fit some ear-buds or loose change but your cell phone, forget about it. Besides that the shorts are awesome.
